As Sustainability Manager, Gayle Prest works directly for the City Coordinator, providing a unique opportunity to work across various departments on sustainability issues.  Gayle draws from her work on environmental policy and communication in the City's Public Works Department as well as 13 years managing solid waste, recycling, and household hazardous waste programs.

Gayle Prest has partnered with June Mathiowetz to bring the City of Minneapolis to the forefront of sustainable communities. Join us to learn how the City of Minneapolis positions itself as an example for sustainable practices and a supporter of local sustainable business.

EcoTuesday is a forum for sustainable business leaders to come together to network, collaborate, and engage with one another in a structured environment. Each month EcoTuesday features opportunities for sustainable business leaders to network and learn about current issues from an innovative speaker and from one another. During the introduction circle, all participants share one sentence about their business and a passion or interest around sustainability, which provides participants an opportunity to learn about each other in order to focus their networking efforts for the rest of the evening.
